Najarian Scholarship
Established in honor of Regina A. Najarian, this scholarship recognizes a high school senior or college student’s exceptional demonstration of passion for his or her culture. Each recipient will be awarded a $5,000 one-time scholarship to assist with educational expenses.
Regina’s pride for her Armenian heritage was present in her everyday life and she proudly advocated for cultural awareness and preservation. As a teenager, she formed lifelong friendships at Camp Haiastan in Franklin, MA. She was the president of the Tufts University Armenian Club and a proud member of the Sayat Nova Dance Company of Boston. Regina was passionate about education, serving her community and its youth. She was a driving force in the establishment of Who We Are.
Who We Are is committed to advancing cultural identity and understanding through educational, humanitarian, artistic, athletic and social initiatives. The organization aims to highlight our unique culture backgrounds and unite us through understanding and expression.
Qualifications
High school senior graduating in 2023 or a college student in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year
Active in promoting cultural identity
Must reside in the United States
Must be attending an accredited college or university in the United States
Due Date
This application must be completed and submitted online no later than February 1, 2023. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Scholarship recipients will be notified via electronic mail by May 1, 2023. It is important to include an e-mail address on this application that will remain valid until the end of May 2023.
